Work, Work, and More Work
I'm getting really tired of this working shit. We've got three shifts out at PPD, running 24 hours a day, and everybody is pointing fingers at everybody. Nobody knows courtesy out there.
I shouldn't complain, since I've only got a month left and back to part time hours (30 hrs/week). Last week, there was a new job opening for the "bogie robot," a machine that takes the snowmobile bogie wheels and moves them down a sort of "assembly line" for robotic arms to insert bearings and snap rings. I'm trained in on the robot, so I went straight to the HR Director and told her about it. She said that she had already "thought of me" and she will consider it.
I would really like to get off the floor for once. Our shift supervisor is retiring, a person who all of us on 2nd shift are loyal to, but I think I need the change in scenery. Hopefully this week or next I will find out if I get the job or not.
