Fantasy Football -- Yeah, Baby!

Going into Sunday, I knew it was going to be tough going for me, since I'm ranked 8th and I was going up against the 2nd ranked team in the league.

Just looking through his stats, all of his players were solid -- he had Pennington, Harrington, T-O, Ahman Green, Brian Westbrook, and Alge Crumpler. All of his players, including his kicker and his defensive specialists, but excluding Harrington and one of his wide outs, had over 10 points. The thing that hurt him was that he did not start a tight end due to a bye week.

As for me, Michael Vick finally stepped up, scoring 28 points (3 TD's). I also got touchdowns from Randy Moss (although injured), Ashley Lelie, and two TD's from Minnesota's tight end Jermaine Wiggins. Mewelde Moore had yet another solid game for the second week in a row, giving me an extra 25 points.

Point totals for Week 6:

Nine Years: 148.16
Vikings year ... again: 137.92

Luckily for me, my opponent has no players playing tonight -- both of us are done!

As for roster moves, I picked up Moe Williams again, since I had lost Michael Bennett to another team. Ontarrio Smith still has two more weeks to serve on his suspension, so I might consider picking him up next week, all depending on how Bennett plays against the Titans next week.

For Week 7, I will be playing the 12th (and last) ranked team in the league, who currently sits at a 1-4 record. Things are lookin' good.
