Michigan - Michigan State: 3 Overtimes

Braylon Edwards catches a touchdown pass late in the 4th Quarter of the Michigan-Michigan State Game. Posted by Hello

I watched on and off this game on Saturday afternoon.

One, it was the interstate rivarly for the Paul Bunyan Governor's Trophy.

Two, it was being played in the Big House in Ann Arbor.

And three, Michigan was getting their butts kicked. Michigan was down 27-10 in the 4th Quarter, then all hell broke loose. Michigan kicked a field goal, then recovered an on-side kick, then a touchdown. 27-20.

Michigan scored later on to tie the game up and sent it into overtime.

First OT: field goals. 30-30.

Second OT: touchdowns. 37-37.

Third OT -- now you have to attempt a 2-point conversion: Michigan gets theirs, Michigan State comes up empty -- Michigan wins, 45-37. Bedlam in The Big House.

Probably the most exciting game this year, besides Miami and Florida State getting upset in their games on Saturday. But damn ... Michigan is on a roll!

Other notes: Minnesota lost to Indiana. For crying out loud!
