Michigan and the Vikings

Michigan gets upset at South Bend playing the Fighting Irish (thanks for the comment, Robb). Not a happy camper on Saturday. I'll have to admit, it was quite a boring game, 9 to nothing lead at halftime, then the Irish storm back in the 4th quarter. It was all about the defense in that game. Michigan also slips BIG TIME in the standings, they're 17th in the nation in the ESPN/USA Today poll.

The Vikings, on the other hand, had me a little worried in the beginning on the game. Dalls dominated the 1st quarter, owning like 13 of the 15 minutes that quarter. Then the Vikings offense kicked in -- Daunte with 5 TD passes, 2 to Randy Moss -- wow. 35-17, I'm thinking playoffs, baby! But next week, they play another potent offense in Philadelphia on Monday Night Football. Donovan McNabb and Terrell Owens hooked up three times, so the Minnesota D-backs better be ready.

But I have never seen the Minnesota offense so efficient and so smooth before. Usually, Daunte will have hot and then cold streaks during a game, but he was on!
